Christmas Challenge Doll

The Dolly Mama, the Fabric Floozies and Mary just had their Christmas Challenge Doll Exchange and Party. We had a celebration…..what talent and imaginations! The doll I designed was inspired by R.T. Erte’, a famous artist-fashion designer in the early 1900’s. He was featured in Harper’s Bazar from 1915 to 1936. After seeing the movie Burlesque I begin to look through some of my early century books and came across some of his work. I loved the “doll” purses he designed. Motivated to sketch one of my own, and the Christmas Challenge just around the corner I went to work on this new pattern and doll. That is how the Lady Jane Purse was produced.

Your doll purse is fantastic! I'm a big fan of Erte also and I've been brainstorming a few designs I would like to execute.... one of these years! ; )
    Beautiful work!
